This Parent Information Hub is designed to make it easy for you to find the information you need, understand our programs, and confidently navigate what to expect throughout the season. Our goal is simple: create an affordable, competitive, and supportive environment where every player can learn, grow, and love the beautiful game of soccer.

Youth Academy (Ages 7 & Under)

Introduction to soccer fundamentals
Academy-style practices led by licensed coaches
In-house games and mini-scrimmages
Shorter seasons and minimal travel
Focus on fun, confidence, and skill development

Competitive Travel (Ages 8–U19)

Two competitive seasons per year
Licensed and experienced coaching
League games, weekend friendlies, and tournaments
Increased commitment as players progress
Team-based travel chosen by coaches and families

For 2013 birth year and older, players may be placed in one of two pathways based on skill and team needs:

Select Level – Competitive play with moderate travel
Premier Level – Highly competitive, may require more travel and additional costs depending on the team’s success and qualification for higher-level tournaments

Registration Fees

You will see the full registration cost during signup, but in general, registration covers:

Coaching and instruction
Field rentals and game facilities
Insurance
Administrative support

Additional Parent Financial Responsibilities

Because each team operates independently and chooses its own tournaments, total yearly costs vary. Parents should plan for:

Uniform kit (required for competitive teams)
Individual team tournament and league fees
Travel expenses (hotel, transport, meals)
Optional team gear (chairs, weather covers, etc.)
Fundraising opportunities may help offset costs

While we cannot provide an exact annual cost due to team-by-team differences, we aim to keep REAL Billings FC affordable, transparent, and mindful of families’ budgets.

With the generous support of our primary club sponsors, Leavitt Group and ROVE Management, each new REAL Billings FC player’s official jersey is provided by the club. If a player needs additional or replacement uniform items after receiving their initial jersey, the player is responsible for purchasing the required items. Details regarding ordering, required pieces, and deadlines will be shared during registration. Uniform cycles typically span multiple years to help minimize recurring costs for families.

Little to no travel
Emphasis on fun, teamwork, and early fundamentals

Competitive Teams (Ages 8–U19)

2–3 practices per week, depending on age and team level.
Weekend friendlies or games within the state.
2–3 travel tournaments per season (chosen by each team).
Occasional team meetings or training sessions during peak season.
Additional opportunities such as futsal, winter training, camps, or skills sessions.

For Premier Teams, families should anticipate the additional:

More competitive events.
Increased practices.
Travel for state, regional and national tournaments or showcases.
Possible increased coaching or tournament fees.

Team Fundraising

At REAL Billings FC, we welcome and encourage team fundraising as a way to support your players and enhance their overall experience. Fundraising efforts can help cover tournament costs, support team gatherings or parties, and fund extra items such as weather protectors, team benches, training accessories, or other helpful resources.

RBFC provides teams with the freedom and flexibility to choose fundraising activities that best fit your team’s style, needs, and community. This means managers and families can be creative, organized, and most importantly have fun while supporting their athletes.

We encourage parents to help lead or assist with fundraising efforts, as these shared experiences help build community, strengthen team relationships, and create memorable connections among families.
